The Cadmus facilities were originally constructed in a large, abandoned aqueduct outside of Metropolis. Project Cadmus was founded by Dabney Donovan, Reginald Augustine, and Thomas Thompkins. Project Cadmus was created by Jack Kirby as the DNA Project in Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen #133 (October 1970), and was run by the former Newsboy Legion. Its 31st-century descendants run the Justice League 3000 clone project. Its notable creations included the Golden Guardian (a clone of the original Guardian), Auron (another clone of the original Guardian), Superboy (Kon-El) (a binary clone made from the DNA of Superman and Lex Luthor), and Dubbilex and his fellow DNAliens. Project Cadmus is a fictional genetic engineering project in the DC Comics Universe. It’s a quick read, but full of all of the intensity that Meghan writes so well. But when his secret is revealed, it changes everything. This story has a wonderfully dark edge to it as Temperance explores a whole new side of herself, and each encounter with her mysterious stranger absolutely sizzles with chemistry. And though she has no idea who he is, she can’t stay away. Which he delivers when she bravely ventures into the club again. Dark, mysterious and sexy, the stranger completely rocks her world, leaving her desperate for more. She is mesmerised by all that she sees, but it’s when she’s approached by a masked stranger that her night truly gets interesting. Temperance is heading to a business meeting when she mistakenly wanders into an elite sex club (it could happen!). Temperance has worked hard to drag herself away from her poor-girl-from-the-bayou background, and is now COO of a successful whiskey distilling business, but she’s got an edge which makes her really interesting, with a bit of a shady past and dreams of something more. A spin-off from the Mount Trilogy (you don’t need to have read that one to enjoy this one), this is the story of Kira’s ( Mount heroine) assistant, Temperance, and it’s a strong start to what is sure to be a sexy, exciting and intense series! Another fantastic read from Meghan March as she takes us back to New Orleans for another steamy story that had me completely captivated. |
